The Massachusetts Youth Soccer Scholarship Program is for high school seniors who plan to attend a post-secondary educational institution.  A scholarship will be awarded to one male and one female each year.  To be eligible for this scholarship the student-athlete must have been associated with Massachusetts Youth Soccer for at least the past two (2) years. Each Application for Scholarship and supporting documentation must be received on or before May 1st.  Massachusetts Youth Soccer will select the best-qualified applicants. The amount of the scholarships is currently indefinite as it will depend on fund raising efforts; however the goal is to have each scholarship amount to $1,000.00. The scholarship will be paid to each recipient after they have completed a full semester and it will be paid by a check made payable to the recipient and mailed to their home address listed on the scholarship application. In addition each recipient will be invited to attend the Annual Awards Banquet in December Application for the Mass Youth Soccer Student Athlete Scholarship

Requirements: 

Each candidate must complete and submit the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Application for Scholarship and supporting documentation.

Each candidate must write and submit an essay of more than 500 words on how the game of soccer has positively influenced their lives.

Each Candidate must have been a player registered with Massachusetts Youth Soccer for at least the past 2 years.

Each Candidate must be a High School senior who will be attending a post-secondary school.
