Scheduling procedures for all Fall/Spring CYSL make-up games:

Coastal Guidelines:

Home coach will provide the away coach and each Town Coordinator with a list of three (3) different dates and times within 5 days of initial notification. The away coach must respond within 5 days of receiving the dates. If the coaches cannot agree, Town Coordinators must attempt to resolve the dispute. If the Town Coordinators cannot agree to a date, the matter will be forwarded to the Standards Committee. Notice of the Standards Committee decision shall be given in writing to both teams.
 
Bona fide reasons for a reschedule request include:

• field closed/game cancelled due to inclement weather;
• game suspended/cancelled due to lightening or darkness;
• field conditions declared unplayable by game or league officials;
• inability to field a team due to Memorial Day Weekend tournament participation (CYSL By-Law 9(c));

PYS Coaches Instructions - How to request a field and a referee crew:

• Mid-week makeup games are required to have kick off times of either 5pm or 6:30pm to allow for multiple games on the same field each night.
• Try to allow 1 week notice so that referees can be found and assigned to work the game.
• Check the calendar on the front page of the website to confirm field availability for the desired date/time.
• Once you have chosen a date/time that is agreeable to your opposing coach you must modify the game on your online schedule.  To do so:
• Log into the website
• Under your team schedule, click the orange "Edit Event" button on the right.
• Change the Date and/or Time accordingly
• *** Important***  Be sure to check off the box next to the Referee Coordinator and also that the box next to "Notify Officials" is checked as well.
• Click "Submit"
