CTSL mtg notes 3-29-10

Present: Kevin Cantwell, Greg Chandler, Dave Coutts, Dan Carton, Jim Sweeney, Nancy Seiden, Michael Bilas, Andy Karparis, Geoff Hoffman, Kathy Anderson, David Nigro, Barbara Buckley

Discussion about dual rostering issues in regards to MASC, Maple and Towns because of players deciding to play Club instead of Town the associations and MASC are not notified in a timely manner which causes potential Dual Rostering Problems.  Decision expected soon once a pending Maple issue is resolved. It appears deadlines for U15 and older rosters will be standardized next season with a date TBD. Next year if a player plays both Town and club they will need to be registered by both organizations in order to prevent players not being registered at all.

It appears that Got Soccer will be the system selected for player registration on the state level.  Towns do not have to change.

MTOC schedule is out.  First games Friday 6/25 at 6 pm.  June 1 will be the freeze date for MTOC rosters.  Rosters must be at 15/18 by age group.

May 15 deadline to submit names for MTOC refs.

Coaches must report scores to town statistician on day of game.  Statisticians are required to report scores to league on Sundays.

Ref coordinators and statisticians must report yellow and red cards in ref report.

Standards Committee, which votes on protests, needs another member.  Contact Greg Chandler if interested.

May 1 pictures and lamination required for pass cards.  Coaches must have 2 rosters at every game, one for ref, one for opposing coach.  Pass cards option at U10 level.
