All towns had a representative in attendance.

Spring soccer

Each town gave a rough estimate of numbers of teams for the spring. Final team numbers and rosters are due at the January meeting.

Referees

Derek Ambrozaitis, Russ Shirley and Levon Akoghianian were in attendance to discuss the referee program. Re-certification must be complete by Feb 28 or refs will not be certified for the spring. Towns need to work to develop their referees beyond the initial certification. Encourage refs to continue taking courses. Start mentoring programs in town to help with training and retaining refs. Mentors are experienced and mature teen refs or adults with reffing experience. Each town should send a name of a referee mentor coordinator to Russ Shirley. Russ Shirley will work with Levon. MSRC is willing to send reps to towns to assist with starting the mentoring programs. Questions and requests should be directed to Mentor@massref.net. Towns need to send their ref payment schedule to Dave C.

Finances

Noel Cross presented a report detailing expenses and which towns still owe money from fall 09 and earlier. CYSL has outstanding debits of $4620. Checking account has $543.79 and CD has $8193.72.

MTOC

$1000 per game fee for no-shows at MTOC. Teams not planning on playing must notify CYSL by the Monday following the final playoff games and must notify MTOC by the Sunday before the tournament. U19 games at MOTC will begin Friday night.
